There is really no limit to the number of the types of fillable pdf forms.  I'm constantly surprised by a call for yet another creative use for pdf forms.

 

One thing that does surprise me is the number of insurance companies that don't provide their brokers with fillable insurance pdf forms.  Insurance application forms tend to be very condensed but it's expected that you use pen to fill them out.  Each form is different but there is a common theme to this type of form.

 

Medical offices seem to like to offer new patients the option of filling out the new patient intake form before coming to the office.  Not only is it much easier for the patient to fill out the medical form in the comfort of their home but it's actually possible for the doctor and staff to read the data.

 

Business quote forms created from fillable pdfs is also common type of pdf form.  Many will use the pdf during a phone interview to capture information and immediately create a quote for the client.  Other will create forms for the client to complete and submit for quote.   Print shops, graphic designers, funeral service, yard care and furniture restoration companies are a few that come to mind from recent clients.

 

Personnel forms are also common.  Due to increasing concern for compliance, many small companies are seeking to provide human resource forms on-line to be readily available and current.

 

Real estate is an industry buried in detailed data.  We've created listing input forms for MLS services to help them get consistent and legible data.  Fillable pdf forms can be created to limit the number of characters for a field to avoid the problem of data not fitting into the database.
